True rest isn't found in vacations or getaways but in dwelling in God's presence, as Psalm 91 teaches. The Hebrew word for 'dwell' simply means 'to sit' - something challenging in our constantly moving world. When we learn to sit in God's presence, He becomes bigger than our problems, putting everything into proper perspective. Finding the right shelter in God leads to genuine rest, not just temporary relief. This summer, create a daily dwelling place with God, identify false shelters you run to, practice trusting Him with your concerns, and embrace true Sabbath rest.
